Question: We are planning adding a master bedroom suite. Do we need to call an architect?
Answer: You do not need to call an architect, but it is one of your options. Architects are well educated about all aspects of building and design and help many people with their designs and building projects. They can be very creative, and many people feel comfortable utilizing an architect’s services. They generally then will have contractors they like to work with complete the project for you.
Another option is working with a design/build remodeling contractor like us. Our in-house design team will help you create your designs, and then our own in-house production team will build the project. None of our employees are architects, but we have created plans for clients like you using their ideas mixed with our suggestions for over thirty years. We start by making many designs that include as many features as you want and allow you to narrow it to the final budget and design selection. Our three dimensional architectural computer program helps people design and visualize their completed project before any actual construction has started. Once the design is finalized, the project is handed to the production team for construction.
